First time I ever made an angel food cake! It was fun and I suggest using a kitchen aid mixer.
Angel Food Cake with Lemon Zest
Ina Garten
2 C super fine sugar
1 1/3 C sifted cake flour
1 1/2 C eggwhites at room temp 10-12 eggs
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp COT
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp lemon zest
Whipped Stabilized Cream with Chocolate
Prairie Homestead
1 C cold heavy cream
1/3 C powdered sugar
3 tbl sp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
tiny pinch of salt
1 tbl sp cold water
1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin
Yum! and it was fun!
